Dr. Ricky Mohanty

Subject Area – Information System Dr. Ricky Mohanty has earned Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, Ranchi for an interesting research study on classification of bird species by using artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced digital signal processing. She also holds Master degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering along with Bachelor degree in Engineering. She has more than a dozen research publications in reputed national and international journals including the International Journal for Science and Advance Research in Technology (Thomson Reuters) and the Springer International Journal of Speech Technology. She has also contributed research papers to three books published by Springer and Elsevier. She has presented a number of papers in national and international conferences. Dr. Mohanty had started her professional career as a corporate trainer imparting training in IBM Mainframe. Subsequently, she joined academics and has more than a decade and half of rich experience in teaching. Before joining ASBM University, she was working as Assistant Professor in Orissa Engineering College (OEC), Bhubaneswar.
