ASBM Business Incubator Centre has been setup by MSME, Govt. of India, to promote and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship. The goal of this centre is to provide an intensive Programme designed to assist students to start their own business setup. The centre helps new and startup companies to develop by providing services such as management training, business basics, intellectual property management, business etiquette, marketing research and comprehensive business training Programme. The mentors of this centre assists students in all dimensions to create a sustainable business projects based on the customer’s feedback and competitive analysis. The centre has tied up with the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India for creating startup ecosystem in Odisha. Central Tool Room & Training Centre (Ministry of MSME, Govt of India) has extended as training partner for enhancing skills among the students through mentoring.

Invitation to Startups
Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has recognized ASBM Business Incubator, Bhubaneswar to establish Business Incubator Centre. Applications are invited from (1) enterprising individuals/teams, (2) registered firms, and (3) subsidiary/ancillary units of established firms, having novel and commercially viable ideas to set up their units in the Startup Centre of the Institute. On the basis of the potentiality of the proposal, the selected entities will be categorised as funded or self financed.
Who Are Eligible
Enterprising individuals/teams inside or outside of the institute (Form A) Registered firms (Form B)
Subsidiary/ancillary units of established firms (Form B)
What Facilities Will Be Available
- Furnished/Semi-furnished/Unfurnished space as per the requirement of the entity Internet, electricity, and water facility
- Hostel facility, if available
- Laboratory and workshop facilities
- Library facility
- Mentoring support
The above facilities will be available on payment basis as per the Institute rules.
Funding and Duration
Seed/Ignition fund of Rs.6.15 Lakhs in phases to a maximum of 10 selected registered startups. Other selected startups will be accommodated as self-financed entities.
Facilitation of bank loan
Duration: One year (can be extended, without funding, on approval)

New entities should be converted into registered firms and established entities should be scaled up.
Procedure
Each applicant has to make a Business Plan presentation before the Selection Committee. Each selected startup has to sign an agreement with the ASBM Business Incubator Centre, Bhubaneswar.
