Dr Swagat Patel

Subject Area – English Dr. Swagat Patel has been awarded MA, M.Phil, and Ph.D. degrees in English – all by Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has published eleven research papers in international and national journals. He has also published a book on film studies and has contributed chapters in three books. He has presented ten research papers at national and international conferences.   Dr Patel participated successfully in a Training Programme on English Language Teaching conducted by The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), one Faculty Enablement Programme conducted by Infosys on Business Communication and Teamwork, and one Annual Refresher Programme in English Language Teaching conducted by Gujrat University. He has gained a lot of experience in film studies. He was awarded Ph.D. for his research study on Books in Motion: A Study of the Adaptation of Four Indian Novels into Films while his M.Phil dissertation was on Transformation of Fiction into Film: The Guide into ‘Guide’. His short film Kya Paya Humne Insaan Hoke received the Best Short Film Award 2017 of Odisha Film Development Corporation. He also received a Certificate of Excellence for his documentary Hum Cigarette Nahi Piyenge at the 5th Noida International Film Festival 2018. Dr. Patel holds a Diploma in Film Direction and worked for the famous Mehboob Studio at Mumbai as a Story Editor. He has six years of experience in teaching English and Soft Skills in reputed institutions including Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur and GLA University, Mathura.       • The Length Of The Paper Should Not Exceed 5000 Words Excluding Title Page And Reference.
