Subject AreaInformation Management Avijit Mondal has been awarded M. Tech. in Computer Science by the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-ISM), Dhanbad – formerly known as Indian School of Mines (ISM) University, Dhanbad. Earlier, he had earned his B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). Prof. Mondal has been into academics for almost a decade and has handled various subjects related to Information Technology, Computer Science, and MIS. He has attended training Programme at BSNL on C-Dot. He has also undertaken several research projects on ‘Digital Image Segmentation’, ‘Implementation of password Authentication Scheme for Multi-Server Architecture using Neural Networks’ and ‘Enhancement of Simulation of Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) Technique for Efficient Authentication’.  He is well convergent and has competency in Programming languages ‘MATLAB’, ‘Python’ and ‘Java’ and web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, additionally Macromedia Dream Weaver, Microsoft Front Page, Adobe Go Live and Visual Basics. He has mastered graphic tools, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe Photoshops, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe Illustrator, 3D Max, Bryce 3D. Prof. Mondal has participated in a number of national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. He is a painter and an accomplished Tabla player, with certification by Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, Kolkata. Areas of Interest – Cloud Computing, DBMS, Network Security, Operating Systems, IWT, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
