Prof. Daisy Irani Patnaik

Ms. Daisy Irani Patnaik has done her MA and M. Phil in English from Berhampur Univesity and is now pursuing her doctoral programme in English from KIIT Deemed to be University. Ms. Patnaik has almost a decade long teaching experience in several reputed institutions including Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vivekananda College, Hyderabad and Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhubaneswar. She has taught English language, English literature, Communicative English, Business Communication, and Documentation & Presentation. She has also gained experience as a soft skill trainer.She has undertaken research projects on ‘Portrayal of Women in Kamala Markendaya’s Two Virgins and Arundhati Roy’s The God of Small Things’ and on ‘Supernaturalism in Shakespeare’s Hamlet and Macbeth’.
Prior to joining ASBM University, Ms. Patnaik worked as an Assistant Professor in English in Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhubaneswar.
Areas of interest: American Literature, Communicative English, Soft Skill Development and Business Communication .
