Subject Area – Economics Prof. Subhrajit Rath holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Utkal University with M.Phil from Pondicherry University. He has completed his doctoral research from Utkal University on the subject “Corporate Social Responsibility, Financial Performance, and Community Wellbeing: Study of Mineral Based Companies in India” with ICSSR Institutional Doctoral Fellowship. He is also qualified in NET in Economics. He has published three research papers in Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC-CARE indexed journals. He has also contributed book chapters and presented 14 research papers in national and international conferences. Prof. Rath participated successfully in a Workshop at IIM-Indore on ‘Emerging Pedagogies in Management Education’ and in the ICSSR-sponsored Orientation Programme in ‘Social Sciences for Research Scholars and Faculty Members’. He has completed a Certificate Course on ‘Advanced Research Methodology in Social Science’ and an ICSSR Research Methodology Course for Ph.D. Students. He has also attended a Data Dissemination Workshop on ‘Census 2011’, a Skill Development Workshop on ‘Mining of Open Macro Data and Analysis using SPSS’, and a workshop on ‘Fine Tuning Research Planning’. Prof. Rath has a strong research base having worked with IIM – Indore for three years as an Academic Associate and with Utkal University for one year as a Research Associate. He was a Research Associate with LEAD-IFMR, Chennai before joining ASBM University. Area of interest – Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Industrial Economics, International Economics, Public Economics, Micro & Macroeconomics, and Quantitative Techniques.
