Programme OVERVIEW

E-Commerce degree focuses on the technology and online business practices of a company. It is an automatic information system to conduct business on the Internet. E-business majors will gain a comprehensive understanding of creating, funding, and managing Internet businesses. Candidate will learn how to write business plans, buy and sell goods or services online and collaborate with marketing and business partners to ensure profitable input and output. The duration of the BBA-E-Commerce (Hons./Research) course is four years and it is career orienting in nature that opens many job options for the candidates after its completion.

The students will get BBA in E-Commerce (Hons./Research) Degree from ASBM University after successful completion of four years of study.

Course Curriculum

Research/Dissertation

Students choosing a four-year Bachelor’s degree (Honours with Research) are required to take up research projects under the guidance of a faculty member in any functional area. The students are expected to complete the Research Project in the eighth semester. After the submission of the dissertation, there will be a viva voce examination.

Curriculum Design

A student will undergo a minimum of 120 credits for three-year BBA programme or a minimum of 160 credits for four-year BBA honours with research. The courses have been classified into credits. The curriculum consists of major (core), minor stream, multidisciplinary, Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), Value Added Courses, Summer Internship and/or Research Project/Dissertation.
