Dr. Das holds Masters in Personnel Management & Labour Welfare from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS, Mumbai) with Masters in Economics from Calcutta University. He also has a Master degree in Law from North Gujarat University and Ph.D. from H. N. Bahuguna Garhwal University (a central university). Prof. Das has vast industry experience of more than 35 years in reputed organizations like British Oxygen, Voltas, Cycle Corporation of India and ONGC. His last industry assignment was General Manager (Personnel & Administration) in ONGC.  He has long teaching experience of about 11 years as visiting faculty of reputed Institutions like Assam Central University, North Gujarat University, Adikavi Nannayya University and ASBM-Hyderabad. He has also published many research papers in national and international referred journals. Areas of interest – Industrial Relations, Strategic Management
