Dr. Rajee Jabbal was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce by Fakir Mohan University for her research study titled "Agricultural Marketing Scenario in Orissa with special reference to Regulated Markets." She also holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in Law – both from Utkal University.

Dr Jabbal has successfully completed a Faculty Development Programme in Management at IIM Ahmedabad. She has also attended several training programmes, such as the Learning Curve Simulation Workshop at IIM Ahmedabad, Short-term Courses on ‘Commodity Derivatives and Risk Management’ and ‘Data Analysis with R’ at IIT Kharagpur, and on ‘Indian Logistics – Enabler to Industrial Growth’ conducted by the Indian Institute of Materials Management, Jamshedpur.

She has published several research papers and has contributed book chapters. She has also participated in, and presented papers at, many national and international seminars and conferences.

Dr. Jabbal started her academic career with the erstwhile Asian School of Business Management, where she worked for almost a decade. She has also taught at the National Law University Odisha, Cuttack and the Indian Institute of Materials Management, Jamshedpur.

She took a ten-year sabbatical from academia to work as an entrepreneur and set up ‘Global Enterprises’ as a partnership venture. The firm provides green packaging (sustainable and returnable) and logistics services to clients such as Tata Motors, Maruti Udyog, Tata Cummins, and Thyssen Krupp. Thus, she has acquired hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, family business, logistics, and sustainability.

Areas of academic interest: Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Taxation, and Financial Reporting. Entrepreneurship and Family Business.
