Dr. Golakh Kumar Behera

Subject Area – Finance, Accounting and Commerce Dr. Golakh Kumar Behera holds Master degree in Finance and Control (MFC) from Berhampur University with Master degree in Commerce (M.Com.) from Andhra University. He has been awarded Ph.D. in Commerce by Berhampur University for his research work ‘Financing of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the State of Odisha – A Study on the Role of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI)’. He had received Senior Research Fellowship under the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship of UGC for his doctoral work. He has published four research papers in reputed journals and has also contributed chapter to a book on Finance and Taxation. He has attended Faculty Development Programmes on ‘Research Methodology’, ‘Statistical Analysis for Business Research’, ‘Application of Innovative Approach for Effective Teaching Management and Research Practices’, ‘Basic Econometrics’ ‘Data Analytics in Business Research’ conducted by orgainastionas like ICSSR, National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research, University of Mysore etc. He has also presented papers in international and national conferences and has received the Best Paper Award on a number of occasions. Dr. Behera has taught different courses in the P. G. Department of Commerce in Berhampur University.
