Dr.Hari Narayan Sahu has been awarded Ph.D. in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (IR & PM) by Berhampur University for his research study, ‘Employee Retention Strategy and Sustainable Growth of an Enterprise’ as a full-time UGC Senior Research Fellow. He had earlier earned his M.A. degree – also in IR & PM – from the same university.

Dr.Sahu has presented research papers at eleven national and international conferences.  He has published four papers in international journals along with two book chapters. He has attended several faculty development programmes at different universities on subjects like ‘Theory and Practice of Industrial Relations Law’, ‘Research Methodology’, ‘Quantitative Data Analysis Using SPSS’ etc.

He has worked on a project titled ‘Labour Market Study and Skill Need Assessment in Odisha’ of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). He has also undertaken a project at J K Paper Mills, Rayagada on the functioning of the Quality Circle.

Dr.Sahu has more than five years of teaching experience in several institutions. His last assignment before joining ASBM University was at the D.D. (Autonomous) College, Keonjhar.
