Dr. Padmanava Mohapatra

Subject Area – Finance and Accountancy Dr. Mohapatra has been awarded Ph.D. in Commerce by Utkal University for his research study ‘Changing Paradigm of Life Insurance Business: A Marketing Perspective’. He also holds Master degree in Commerce from there. His research areas include financial inclusion, insurance, housing finance, stock market, financial products, rural entrepreneurship etc. and he has published more than a dozen research papers. He has also presented a number of pares in national and international conferences and has contributed chapters to books. He has more than three decades of rich experience in academics and academic administration. In addition to teaching, he has worked as Chairman of the PG Council and the Controller of Examinations. He has also headed the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Institute and has attended workshop on International Quality Benchmark. Areas of interest – Financial & Managerial Accounting, Corporate Accounts, Financial Management, Investment Decisions, Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Life Insurance Products & Practices.  Professional affiliation – Indian Accounting Association
