Dr. Phalgu Niranjana is Professor in the area of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management in the School of Business and Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University. She is one of the eleven teachers in the world to have been awarded with the ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award for her continued commitment to student success in the year 2022. She represents Region 10 comprising of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Afghanistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore. Dr. Niranjana has done her Masters and M. Phil. in Psychology and Ph.D. in Business Administration. She became a doctorate degree holder at the young age of 26 from the premier 81-year old Utkal University, the 17th oldest university in India. She has to her credit thirty six publications in nationally and internationally referred journals and thirteen books published by Sage, Response Books, Excel, and Bloomsbury. She has also presented a number of papers in different national and international conferences. She is currently supervising a number of research scholars. She a blind reviewer for different peer reviewed national and international journals.
She has 24 years of rich experience in teaching, research and academic administration. Before joining ASBM, she has worked with IIM Indore, IIBM Guwahati, and IBAT School of Management (KIIT Deemed to be University). She has successfully completed the Certified Evaluators Programme of Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP), USA held at Atlanta, USA. She is the Secretary Region 10 Council for the year 2023 – 24.
