Dr. Pratap Kumar Pati was awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) by the prestigious Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSOM), Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has a doctorate in Management from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha, and is also a graduate engineer in Electronics & Communications from Berhampur University. He has also qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professor.

He has been in academics for more than a decade and a half, and has handled various subjects related to Operations Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Total Quality Management, etc.

He has successfully completed the Faculty Development Programme in Entrepreneurship conducted by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) and sponsored by the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. He has participated in, and presented papers at, many national and international seminars and has several publications to his credit.

Dr. Pati previously worked for BOBCARDS Ltd. and oversaw its Business Development and International Operations.
