Asbm Talent Festival Ignite and Markfest 2016 Ends

The National Talent Festival of Asian School of Business Management was inaugurated by Shri Sanjay Kumar Das Burma, Hon’ble Minister, Skill Development & Technical Education, Govt. of Odisha by lighting the ‘Lamp of Wisdom’ as Chief Guest. He visited all the Markfest Stalls and very much impressed by the innovative ideas projected by the young management graduates. He said that as a minister he know that how important entrepreneurship is so he appreciate the efforts taken by Director ASBM in this direction. Future manager who are grooming here, having skill, attitude, qualitative learning and ample practical exposure.
Guest of Eminence on the occasion Prof. (Dr.) Prasanna Kummar Patasani, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Bhubaneswar said that ASBM is a great institution. At ASBM Discipline – the language of silence is cultivated. He urged student to apply scientific approach of life by promoting humanity, education and knowledge.
In his welcome address Prof. (Dr.) Biswajeet Pattanayak, Founder & Director ASBM, said that the very concept of this Talent Festival is to generate new ideas from the young minds and to execute their ideas beyond class room. He urged student to think out of box, innovative to match today’s business scenario. This is a platform for exchange of thoughts, feelings and ideas. So translate your knowledge into skill with a dedication to execute.
This three day long National Talent Festival; Ignite and Markfest 2016 from 1st to 3rd February 2016 marked by 12 competitions viz. Business Bazzigar: The Live Bazzar, Counter Strike, Ran Bhoomi: The Debate, Song: The Voice of Ignite, Corporate Chanakya: The Business Case Study, AD Mad: The Advertisement Making, War of Bands, Rangoli, Retro Traditional: The Fashion Show, Danza: The Dancing Superstar, Business Quiz and Face Painting. More than 300 students from various management and graduate colleges actively participate in the event. The Live Bazzar, show case of marketing ideas was the centre of attraction.
In the valedictory session attended by Dr. Arun Kumar Sahu, Hon’ble Minister, Panchayati Raj & Law, Govt. of Odisha as Chief Guest. He urged management students to strive for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden. It is our moral duty to give back our best to the society. He said how effective Time Management can help to excel in their life.
Guest of Eminence of the occasion Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, Hon’ble MLA, Bhubaneswar (North) said that Bhubaneswar is an education hub where ASBM has marked its presence by its quality management education. He vehemently praised the untiring efforts by its Founder & Director Prof. (Dr.) Biswajeet Pattanayak.
Prizes has been distributed to the all the winners of the all the competitions by the Chief Guest and Guest of Eminence and presentation of Memento to the entire distinguished guest by the Director ASBM. In the inaugural ceremony introduction of guest was given by Prof. Kalyan S Ray, Dean, ASBM and vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Bhakta Bandhu Dash, Coordinator, Ignite, 2016 while in the valedictory session vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Prakash Chandra Dash, Co-coordinator of the event. The festival was concluded amidst great fun and fervor.
